Besides dairy, what else should you avoid after dental implants?
6. Carbonated drinks: bad for healing

Although carbonated drinks are palatable, they may adversely affect recovery after dental implants. The bubbles in carbonated drinks may cause discomfort to the treatment area and affect the stability of the dental implant. At the same time, the sugar in drinks may also promote the growth of bacteria in the mouth and increase the risk of infection.
For better recovery, it is recommended to avoid carbonated drinks for a few weeks after dental implants and choose mild beverages such as water, warm tea or natural juices.
