Besides dairy, what else should you avoid after dental implants?
3. Alcohol: affects the healing process

Excessive alcohol consumption can hinder the body's healing process, especially during recovery after surgery. Alcohol may cause blood circulation problems, suppress immune system function, and affect the speed of wound healing. In addition, drinking alcohol may cause dehydration in the oral cavity and aggravate postoperative oral discomfort.
To promote recovery, avoid drinking alcohol for at least the first few weeks after dental implants. If you have a strong urge to drink, talk to your dentist about whether it's time to resume drinking.
