A few years ago, I wanted to create personalized artwork for the bedroom without it feeling too obvious or clichéd. I got the idea after discovering some silhouette art from my childhood and decided to give it a modern twist. Silhouette art is surprisingly easy to make: I took photos of my family, traced the outlines onto a painted canvas, and filled them in with white paint. Instead of the typical black and white, I chose a deep brown tone to complement the vintage furniture in the room, adding warmth and continuity to the space.
