8 Easy Steps to Build a Tiny A-Frame Cabin

When I was a kid, my dad took us fishing by a campground with the cutest A-Frame cabins. I always dreamed of living in one! So, I came up with a plan for an 8x8 A-Frame cabin for seasonal use. It doesn’t have a bathroom, so you’ll need an outhouse or composting toilet.

Inside, you can throw in a wood stove or go for a portable propane heater. It’s super easy to build with just a few 2x4s and 2x6s, plus some metal roofing. This cozy spot is perfect for a guest house, rental, or even a tiny home—and you can easily take it apart and move it wherever you want!
